Saturday, 6th September - Come All Ye Night at the Cumberland Arms in Byker, Newcastle upon Tyne. This is a singaround/session, but as Joe says, don't let the diddlys take over. A good listening night, and good music comes through.

Sunday, 7th September - Cath & Phil Tyler play at the Head of Steam on Neville Street, Newcastle upon Tyne. with Euchrid Eucrow. This is FIL103. £3 in, 8pm to start.

Saturday and Sunday, 13th and 14th September - You are warmly invited to the 13th annual UK Sacred Harp Convention - two full days of singing and community and whopping sized potluck lunches plus extra hanging out Friday and Saturday evenings (with more music and more food). More information and all the contacts you'll need for even more information can be found here. There is no charge for the event (donations taken, tho) and you can come as you can and go when you want/need to, both days. No prior singing experience is needed, just come wanting to sing!

Tuesday, 30th September - monthly Newcastle Sacred Harp singing. This is at the St. Oswald's Hospice in Gosforth, Newcastle, near to the Regent Centre (NE3 1EE). Starting around half seven, we'll sing from the Sacred Harp for about three hours. All experience or none welcome! Loaner books available, and we'll have a snack break in the middle.
